Diane Giroux, fur designer

After completing her studies in Haute Couture and Fashion Design, Diane has expressed her creativity for the past 30 years by designing and producing collections for private customers and for national and international markets. Diane also coordinated the Fashion Program of the International LaSalle College in Shanghai, MLC, and developed a Fur Production and Design program for Nunavut Arctic College, in the Canadian north. She is particularly proud that the talents of several of her Inuit students were recognized in international design contests, in Belgium and Milan. From her studio in rural Nova Scotia, Diane now produces new creations, mixing materials and textures inspired by the beauty of nature that surrounds her.
