Heureusement que la chasse des bébés phoques est interdite, surtout si c’est pour en faire des manteaux de fourrure pour les citadines. Heureusement que certaines associations se sont battues pour arriver à cette interdiction. Que l’on se nourrisse de phoques par tradition ancestrale n’a rien de choquant.
Est-ce que l’homme sait chasser les baleines, les requins de façon raisonnable ?
Je veux bien écouter vos arguments.
Est-ce que la pêche des requins pour les mutiler de leurs ailerons existe toujours ? Est-ce que vous trouver ça normal ? Si oui pourquoi ?
Finalement quels sont les vrais défenseurs de nos animaux marins ? A quelle association se fier ?

There are a few factual errors in your comment: (1) The killing of "baby" seals has been banned for decades; (2) No one is killing "millions" of seals, and never has. In fact, due to a shortage of sea ice, harvests of harp seals in Newfoundland & Labrador have been well below the reproduction rate for several years; (3) No seal populations in Canada are currently in any danger of going "extinct". Quite the opposite, in fact – they are healthy and growing, too fast in the opinion of many.
