It not only shows the nitty-gritty, but teaches as well.
It’s now a Disney+ show, along with its counterpart, Life Below Zero: First Alaskans

Animals are seen being killed, gutted, skinned, and butchered on the spot in these shows.
As with all reality TV, it’s sensationalized for viewers. It is better than others I’ve seen however. Traps set properly, proper firearm use, etc.
