I believe it is illegal to capture/sell live wildlife in most if not all jurisdictions of Canada and the US unless for scientific research. In any case, your rant has nothing whatsoever to do with humane trap research, the subject of this article.

Does "Truth About Fur" support everything trapping related? I ask because the state where I live recently banned live market animal trapping. Trappers were selling wild animals to "farms" that penned them and charged customers to let their dogs attack and/or rip them apart. They called it training, but it was really for entertainment. I can understand why our state outlawed it, because trapping is supposed to be about management and such, and it's often controversial enough without bloodsport enthusiasts overdoing it. However, I'm sure they still allow it (or something similar) in other states. Most people have never heard of it, since they don't exactly advertise (for obvious reasons) but I've heard it's widespread across America, and quite likely Canada. Is this part of the Humane Research Program?
