In reply to Jaclyn. Regardless of how you view the outcome, the behavior of the BC government in this case was shocking. If the voting public really knew what happened here, the politicians and bureaucrats who helped perpetrate this disgrace would all be out of jobs. This was no way to run a democratically elected government.

Well said, Tim. We can only hope that the BC government will one day be called to account for their completely unjustified shutdown of BC’s responsibly-run mink farming. All Canadians should be outraged by this arbitrary action (the only North American jurisdiction to close down mink farming!)…and especially for the refusal to provide full compensation to farm families.
